Metaphysical meaning of Moabitess (mbd)
Moabitess, mo'-ab-l-tess (fr. Heb.)--of or belonging to Moab.
A female descendant of Moab, the son of Lot. Ruth the Moabitess, who married Boaz, became the great-grandmother of David (Ruth 4:5, 10).
Meta. The carnal mind as it pertains to the soul of man. Ruth the Moabitess signifies human love raised to the divine because of its willingness to leave the love of the unreal. (See RUTH and MOAB.)
