Metaphysical meaning of Nazarene (mbd)
Nazarene, naz-a-rene' (Gk. fr. Heb.)--patronymic for inhabitants of Nazareth.

An inhabitant of the town of Nazareth. Jesus and His followers were called Nazarenes, because Jesus' home was in Nazareth (Matt. 2:23; Acts 24:6).

Meta. A thought belonging to that in consciousness which Nazareth signifies. (See NAZARETH.)
