Metaphysical meaning of Nehum (mbd)
Nehum, ne'-hum (Heb.)--consolation; comfort; compassion.
One who returned with Zerubbabel from the Babylonian captivity (Neh. 7:7).
Meta. The relief from distress, the strengthened hope and cheer, the good (consolation, comfort) that one experiences when one has been delivered from sense confusion (captivity in Babylon) and its results, and has entered into the peace of knowing one's oneness with God (returned to Jerusalem).
