Metaphysical meaning of new man (mbd)
new man (Eph. 4:21; Col. 3:10).
Meta. The "new man" is born of a divine idea through the overshadowing of the Holy Spirit. This idea is that man is a spiritual being. He is a "holy thing," as Mary (the soul) was informed.
