Metaphysical meaning of Pamphylia (mbd)
Pamphylia, pam-phyl'-l-å (Heb.)--heterogeneous peoples; of every race; mixture of nations.
A seacoast district in Asia Minor. Paul preached in Perga, a city in Pamphylia (Acts 13:13; 14:24, 25). It was in Pamphylia that Mark left Paul and Barnabas on his first trip with them (Acts 15:38).
Meta. A mixed state of thought (mixture of nations, of every race).
