A city of Ephraim, where Abdon, one of Israel's judges, was buried (Judg. 12:15).
Meta. A group of thoughts belonging to the will faculty in man (a city of Ephraim), that is of a very high, noble, ruling, freeing character, victorious over error. It works to uncover error and to put it out of the consciousness of the individual.
