Metaphysical meaning of Pisidia (mbd)

Metaphysical meaning of Pisidia (mbd)
Pisidia, pi-sid'-i-å (Gk.)--pitchy; tenacious; clinging; a channel of water.

A province in Asia Minor. One of the two Antiochs of the New Testament was a city of Pisidia (Acts 13:14).

Meta. One significance of Asia is that it refers to a state of consciousness impregnated by old, decayed, worn out, material ideas that should be left behind by the individual who would progress spiritually. Pisidia, a province in Asia Minor (pitchy, tenacious, clinging), signifies the apparent tenacity with which the old ideas represented by Asia stick to one. However, there is cleansing at hand (a channel of water; Paul taught the Truth in Pisidia).
