Metaphysical meaning of Rameses (mbd)
Rameses, ram'-e-ses (fr. Egypt.)--son of Ra; son of the sun; emanation of the sun; born of the sun; production of the sun.

A place in Egypt where Joseph placed his father and his brothers, and gave them possessions (Gen. 47:11). It was a city in the land of Goshen, and the name was sometimes given to the whole province.
