Metaphysical meaning of Rhegium (mbd)
Rhegium, rhe'-gi-um (Gk.) --rent away; broken off; sundered; fractured; broken; ruptured; breached.
A seaport of southern Italy. The boat on which Paul was being taken a prisoner to Rome stopped at this place (Acts 28:13).
Meta. A breaking through (breached) from one phase of thought to another.
