Metaphysical meaning of sea (mbd)
sea.
Meta. The "sea," in Revelation 21:1, that is "no more," is the universal sensate thought of the race, which is to be dissolved and cast into the bottomless pit of nothingness.
The sea also signifies universal Mind, that great realm of unexpressed and unformed thoughts and ideas that contains all-potentiality.
We sometimes think of a "sea," too, as a state of unrest.
