Metaphysical meaning of Sharezer (mbd)
Sharezer, sha-re'-zer (Heb. fr. Pers.) --prince of fire; ruler of the treasury; chief of stores.
Son of Sennacherib, king of Assyria (II Kings 19:37).
Meta. Error brings about its own destruction. Sennacherib (bramble of destruction)--the ruling thought of the Assyria state of consciousness in man, and therefore actively engaged in the promotion of error--sets into operation a devouring, fiery element that destroys him: he was slain by his son Sharezer (prince of fire) and another of his sons.
