Sheal, she'-al (Heb.)--digging out; searching; inquiring; asking; requesting; desiring; praying.
A son of Bani. He had married a foreign woman after the return from the Babylonian captivity, but he gave her up at the command of Ezra (Ezra 10:29).
Meta. A thought activity in the higher consciousness of man (an Israelite) that is seeking earnestly after more of God (searching, inquiring, desiring, praying).
