Metaphysical meaning of Shimeathites (mbd)
Shimeathites, shim'-e-ath-ites (fr. Heb.).
A family of scribes that lived at Jabez. They were of the tribe of Judah (I Chron. 2:55). They may have been descendants of Shimea, David's brother.
Meta. Thoughts springing from and of like character to that which Shimea signifies, being inscribed in the memory of the individual (scribes, descendants of Shimea, David's brother; see SHIMEA).
