Metaphysical meaning of Shishak (mbd)
Shishak, shi-shak (Heb. fr. Egypt.)--present of a bag or pot; like a river.
King of Egypt, to whom Jeroboam fled from King Solomon of Israel (I Kings 11:40). Later, in the reign of Rehoboam, Solomon's son, this king came against Jerusalem and "took away the treasures of the house of Jehovah" (I Kings 14:25, 26).
Meta. A ruling thought over the phase of darkened, ignorant, sense consciousness that Egypt signifies.
