Metaphysical meaning of Shuthelah (mbd)
Shuthelah, shu'-the-lah (Heb.)--noise of breaking; crash of rupture; tumult of the breach; roar of frenzy; rabid tumult.
Son of Ephraim (I Chron. 7:20).
Meta. The confusion, tumult, and inharmony in consciousness that attend the breaking up and passing away of any seemingly strongly established error, by means of the activity of the will (crash of rupture, noise of breaking, a son of Ephraim, Ephraim referring to the will faculty in man). When personal will is brought to bear on the disrupting and dissolving of error, the inner conflict is much greater than when the word of Truth is declared in I AM, or in the Christ consciousness of the allness of God, the good.
