Metaphysical meaning of Stephanas (mbd)
Stephanas, steph'-a-nas (Gk.)--surround; encompass; encircle with a crown; royal diadem; victor's wreath; crowned.
A Christian at Corinth. The members of his household were baptized by Paul and were the first in Achaia to accept Christ (I Cor. 1:16; 16:15).
Meta. Like Stephen, the highest point of intelligent expression in the body, the head (crowned). The head is the seat of reason, and when he who is strong in this part of the consciousness receives the Christ power he is quickened in all that pertains to that realm. (Achaia pertains to the intellect.)
