Metaphysical meaning of Tahash (mbd)
Tahash (A. V., Thahah), ta'-hash (Heb.)--thrusting in; breaking; burrowing; diving; badger; seal; ram; reddish.
Nahor's son by his concubine Reumah (Gen. 22:24). Nahor was Abraham's brother.
Meta. An increase of life activity in the organism. At this phase of individual unfoldment this life activity is more animal than spiritual (commentators agree that the name Tahash refer to the skin of some animal, dyed red; red bespeaks the life activity).
