Metaphysical meaning of Tahchemonite (mbd)
Tahchemonite (A. V., Tachmonite), tah-che-mo-nite (Heb.)--wise; knowing; intelligent; judicious; acute judgment; discrimination; indued with reason; sagacious; learned; reverent; pious.
Josheb-basshebeth a Tahchemonite was one of David's mighty men, and "chief of the captain" (II Sam. 23:8). In I Chronicles 11:11 he is called "Jashobeam, the son of a Hachmonite."
