Metaphysical meaning of Tehinnah (mbd)
Tehinnah, te-hin-nah (Heb.)--inclination; disposed with favor; mercy; compassion; graciousness; grace; imploring mercy; entreaty; supplication; prayer.
Son of Eshton of the tribe of Judah, and the father of Ir-nahash (I Chron. 4:12).
Meta. One's praying earnestly but in a supplicating, entreating manner, as though mercy and grace would come from without, instead of having confidence in the inner Source of all overcoming power and positively affirming one's good until it comes into manifestation (prayer, entreaty, supplication, imploring mercy, disposed with favor, mercy, compassion).
