Metaphysical meaning of Timon (mbd)
Timon, ti-mon (Gk. fr. Heb.)--upright; honorable; sound; whole; valuable; precious.
A Christian man at Jerusalem (Acts 6:5).
Meta. Soundness and uprightness of thought, integrity; also understanding of the great worth of spiritual substance and life, of words of Truth as the sustenance and strength of the true thoughts and activities of one's consciousness (upright, sound, valuable, whole, honorable, precious). Timon was a man full of wisdom and of the Spirit, who was chosen to help distribute provisions among the believers in Jerusalem, to see that none was overlooked in the daily ministration. It is by words of Truth that one's consciousness is fed with spiritual food--spiritual life and substance.
