Tirathites, ti-rath-ites (fr. Heb.)----openings; cleavages; gates; doors; courts; porters; gatekeepers.
A family of scribes that lived at Jabez (I Chron. 2:55).
Meta. Thoughts that stand at the entrance to the inner consciousness (openings, doors, gatekeepers) to receive and transcribe upon the memory, the subconscious mind, all ideas relating to that which Jabez signifies (a family of scribes that lived in Jabez. See SCRIBES and JABEZ.)
