Metaphysical meaning of Ulai (mbd)
Ulai, u'-lai (Heb.)--twisted together; strong; stout; robust; powerful; first; foremost; ram's horn; leather bottle.
A river near Shushan the palace, in Persia. It was there that Daniel saw his vision of a ram and a he-goat (Dan. 8:2).
Meta. A current of thought in the individual (a river), of a firm, strong, powerful, pushing, aggressive character more material than spiritual (twisted together, strong, robust, powerful, foremost, ram's horn, leather bottle). This current of thought may be one concerning the seemingly physical organism (leather bottle suggests this interpretation).
