vessels, holy.
Meta. The "holy vessels" (I Kings 8:4) are the thoughts that lie back of and form the various organs of the body.
The vessels that had been taken from the Temple by Nebuchadnezzar and returned by Cyrus (Ezra 1:6-8) represent our capacity to comprehend and our ability to measure or appreciate life, love, and Truth.
