Zereth, ze'–reth (Heb.)--appearing; coming into manifestation; light; brilliance; brightness; splendor; oil.
Son of Ashhur and his wife Helah, of the tribe of Judah (I Chron. 4:7).
Meta. The bright shining of spiritual understanding into and through the consciousness of the spiritually awakening individual (light, oil, splendor, brightness); this is the result of the freeing activity of prayer and praise (Judah). This name also bespeaks the manifestation of Truth in the outer life and affairs (appearing, coming into manifestation).
