Zorites, zo'–rites (fr. Heb.).
Descendants of Salma, of the tribe of Judah, and thought to have been inhabitants of Zorah (I Chron. 2:54).
Meta. Thoughts that tend to perfection and Truth (descendants of Salma; see SALMA), though still expressing something of the character that Zorah signifies. (See ZORAH.)
