James Green is an African-American Unity minister who was ordained in 1984.
Alden Studebaker, his classmate, remembers him well. "James Green and I were ministerial school classmates (class of '84). He came from the urban school along with Jimmie Scott, Josephine Furlow, Mildred Hinton, Elaine Williams, and Leola Poole during our second year of training at Unity Ministerial School. He and I were roommates on our class trip to Florida. He had the best shoes. Every morning he would say to everybody at breakfast, 'Don't mess with Studebaker right now. He ain't had his pound of raw meat!' I miss him."
