Metaphysical meaning of Alush (mbd)
Alush, a'-lush (Heb.)--wild place; desolation; crowd.
One of the camping places of the Israelites in the wilderness (Num. 33:13).
Meta. A worldly active, undisciplined phase of the mentality (wilderness, wild place, crowd) that has to be met and overcome by the children of Israel (true thoughts) before the Promised Land can be entered. If allowed to continue its ignorant activities, the state of mind that Alush represents will bring more and more desolation to the whole consciousness.
