This book is a great compliment to the Bible. It is easy to read and it feels as if God is taking the time to address you personally. I had a lot of ah-ha moments while reading this book and have since ordered all of the books in the Heart for God devotionals. If you buy only one devotional I suggest this one you will not be disappointed.

Evelyn Whitell was an English mystic, writer and philosopher from London, born about 1880 and who resided in Kansas City as a journalist and teacher around 1910-1912. By 1916 she had moved to the San Francisco area and had become a writer. She travelled to Hawaii several times in the 1920's and also was a traveling speaker in the 1920's and 1930's. An Internet search shows that she was a prolific writer, but Lovingly in the Hands of the Father appears to be the only item published by Unity.
