I have attended Truth classes for several years, and I often get into arguments about Bible meanings and the teachings of Jesus. I feel irritated and exhausted afterward. How can I get over this?
Everyone is entitled to his own opinions concerning such things. To try to convince someone against his will is a waste of time. All religious philosophies have a place and serve a purpose. The Truth of God and spiritual man is unchangeable and eternal, regardless of human opinions. Truth is discovered by turning thought inward to God and asking for illumination. Illumination (or wisdom) flows back through man, revealing the Truth which never needs argument to be proved. Say often:
I grant freedom to all persons regardless of their religious concepts, and claim my own freedom to seek and practice the Truth, which reveals itself to me more every day. I bless all teachings of the past that have helped mankind, and I am at peace.
