On Wednesday, Dec 29, Unity Georgetown had a follow-up to the Visioning Meeting that was held on December 12 and attended by 49 people. Susan Arbuckle, UCOH Celebration Singer, was our song-leader for this evening. Thirty-five people attended the Teaming Meeting at the Georgetown Public Library. There was lots of singing, affirming and gratitude sharing around the topics of Sunday Services, learning about building Spiritual Support Teams and Spiritual Social Action (Masterminding, Prayer Chaplaincy, Inreach and Outreach) and getting a preview of the classes we've scheduled to introduce Unity to the wider Georgetown community. In summary, we moved forward simultaneously on three fronts: Sunday Celebration, Service to each other, the community and the world and Learning Unity Principles and Practices.
