Metaphysical meaning of Ammihud (mbd)
Ammihud, am-mi'-hud (Heb.)--people of excellence (my kinsman is majesty; people of glory; people of praise; my people is honorable.
The name of four different men; all were Israelites except one (Num. 1:10; 34:20; I Chron. 9:4). The name is spelled Ammihur in II Samuel 13:37.
Meta. Ideas pertaining to the honor, authority, high moral integrity, and worth of true spiritual thoughts in consciousness; also the high esteem in which such thoughts should be held by the individual (people of excellence, people of glory, people of praise, my kinsman is majesty, my people is honorable).
