Metaphysical meaning of Ammon (mbd)
Ammon, am'-mon (Heb.)--a great people; an extensive people; a fellow countryman.
From Ben-ammi, son of the younger daughter of Lot (Gen. 19:38). The Ammonites were descended from him.
Meta. The central dominating thought of that which the Ammonites symbolize in consciousness--the belief in carnality; also the extensiveness of this line of thought in mortal man. (See AMMONITES.)
