Metaphysical meaning of Anaharath (mbd)
Anaharath, an-a-ha'-rath (Heb.) a way of groaning; a narrow way; a gorge.
A border city in the allotment of Issachar (Josh. 19:19).
Meta. A fixed place in consciousness where man feels instinctively and knows that trustworthiness, uprightness, and honesty are the passageway that leads to real success in all the affairs of life (a city in the allotment of Issachar, Issachar referring to substance of earth, supply, prosperity). This way may seem narrow, winding, troublous (a way of groaning), and even dangerous and rocky (a gorge) at times to the sense man, yet it is the only way that leads safely through "mountains of difficulties" to true peace and supply.
