Metaphysical meaning of Anaiah (mbd)
Anaiah, a-na'-iah (Heb.)--Jah answers; Jah has answered; whom Jehovah answers.
a A priest who stood at the right hand of Ezra the scribe when Ezra read the book of the law to the people of Israel (Neh. 8:4). b One who joined Nehemiah in sealing the covenant (Neh. 10:22).
Meta. A positive assurance in the consciousness of awakened man that God hears and answers when man seeks to understand and obey the divine law (Jah answers Jah has answered).
