Metaphysical meaning of Aristobulus (mbd)
Aristobulus, ar-is-to-bu'-lus (Gk.)--best deliberating; best advising; best counsel; supreme deliberation (with oneself) .
The household of Aristobulus was in Rome (Rom. 16:10).
Meta. The Holy Spirit as counselor and adviser in man (best advising, best counsel, supreme deliberation with oneself) . The Holy Spirit is not confined to one place in man, but is active throughout his whole consciousness--everywhere present. The ideas and the inspirations of Spirit (household of Aristobulus), however, are received by and abide in the understanding faculty, which is located in the head (Rome).
