Metaphysical meaning of Armoni (mbd)
Armoni, är-mo'-nl (Heb.)--palace-born; of the palace; of a fortress.
Son of Saul by his concubine, Rizpah (II Sam. 21:8).
Meta. A seemingly strongly fortified belief in the human consciousness that the personal will (Saul) is inherently the rightful ruling power in man (of a fortress, palace-born). Armoni was one of the seven sons and grandsons of Saul who were given over to the Gibeonites by David and were put to death by them; that is, this error belief relating to the personal will is discerned and is overcome, or adjusted, by spiritual thoughts attained through prayer.
