Metaphysical meaning of Asiel (mbd)
Asiel, a'-si-el (Heb.)--creation of God; made by God; God is doer.
A Simeonite, a great-grandparent of Jehu (I Chron. 4: 35) .
Meta. The inner revelation that man is in reality spiritual and came forth from God (creation of God; made by God; God is doer; emanation of God). Simeon means "hearing" and signifies the state of mind that listens and is obedient. By listening to God in the silence and heeding the voice of Spirit within him, man is led into the knowledge that he is truly spiritual, that he has his origin in God and is an expression of the divine.
