Metaphysical meaning of Azariah (mbd)
Azariah, az-a-rl'-ah (Heb.)--help of Jehovah; whom Jah succors; whom Jehovah hath helped; whom Jehovah aids.

Meta. That in man which realizes Jehovah as a very present and efficient deliverer and help at all times, whatever the need may be (help of Jehovah, whom Jah succors, whom Jehovah aids). In II Chronicles 26:8-21 Azariah signifies the spiritual quality of strength. (See UZZIAH.) In II Chronicles 31:13 the clause, "and Azariah the ruler of the house of God," refers to the I AM dominion within man, the Christ.
