Metaphysical meaning of Azzan (mbd)
Azzan, az'-zan (Heb.)--very strong; sharp; a thorn.
A man of the Israelitish tribe of Issachar. He was father of Paltiel, who was chosen by Jehovah as prince over this tribe when the land of Canaan was divided among the Israelites (Num. 34: 26) .
Meta. The attitude of mind in us that is definite, unwavering, and to the point. Both strong and sharp it does not quibble over sense feelings or appearances; it is keen in its discernment, comes quickly to a well-defined decision, and abides by it.
