Metaphysical meaning of Bedan (mbd)
Bedan, be'-dan (Heb.)--son of Dan; son of judgment.
a A judge of Israel (called Barak, in margin) who is named with Jerubbaal. Jephthah, and Samuel as a deliverer of Israel (I Sam. 12:11). b A Manassite (I Chron. 7:17).
Meta. A certain activity of the judgment faculty, in discrimination and understanding (son of Dan, son of judgment, according to judgment; a judge of Israel and a man of Manasseh), working to put error out of consciousness and to establish harmony, which is the reward of right doing.
