Bedad, be'-dad (Heb.)--son of Adad; separation; alone.
Father of Hadad, king of Edom (Gen. 36:35)
Meta. The belief in separation, or apartness, from God that exists in the sense man's thought of himself, and especially of his body (separation, alone; the Edomites were descendants of Esau; they pertain to the physical--the outer body consciousness).
