Bernice, ber-ni'-çe (Gk.)--victorious; bringing .victory.
Eldest daughter of Herod Agrippa, and a sister of the Agrippa of Acts 25 and 26 (Acts 25:13).
Meta. Bernice, with Drusilla, the wife of Felix, represents the voluptuous side of the sense life. That is not true victory which is successful only in feeding and building up for a time the outer or sense man in his carnal state.
