Metaphysical meaning of Bilhan (mbd)
Bilhan, b;l'-han (Heb.) --bashful; modest; confused; timid; weak; tender.
a Son of Ezer, a Horite of the land of Seir (Gen. 36:27). b A son of Jediael, a Benjamite (I Chron. 7:10).
Meta. Jediael means knowledge of God, known of God. "The wisdom that is from above is first pure then peaceable, gentle, easy to be entreated, full of mercy" (James 3:17); this is the consciousness that is signified by Bilhan, son of Jediael (tender, modest). It is compassionate, tender, modest--not bold, presumptuous, or hypocritical; it is born of a true knowledge of God.
The Bilhan who was a Horite partakes more of a confused state of mind (confused), and a lack of self-assertion (weak); these are products of a giving way to the fulfillment of the thoughts and desires of one's unredeemed subconsciousness.
