Metaphysical meaning of Elimelech (mbd)
Elimelech, e-l;m'-e-leeh (Heb.)--God is king; God the king; my God is king.

An Israelite of Beth-lehem-judah, and husband of Naomi (Ruth 1:2). Because of a famine in the land of Judah he took his wife and two sons to live in the country of Moab, and he died there.
