Metaphysical meaning of Elpaal (mbd)
Elpaal, el-pa'-al (Heb.)--God works; God's work; wages of God; God's reward.
A Benjamite. His mother's name was Hushim, and his father was Shaharaim (I Chron. 8:11).
Meta. The activity of faith greatly increased in consciousness, and its good results. (Benjamites represent the active faith quality in man, which is the work of God; the wages or reward is a great increase of faith and its activity, and the good that man experiences by acting upon his faith in God, the good.) "Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent" (John 6:29).
