Shaharaim, sha-ha-ra'-im (Heb.)--two cleavings; double breaking forth; two dawns; double aurora; double morning.

A Benjamite, husband of Hodesh, and by her the father of seven sons, all "heads of fathers' houses" (I Chron. 8:8-10).

Meta. The breaking of new light, understanding, in consciousness, doubly strong or doubly great and effective (two dawns, double morning, a Benjamite).
