Metaphysical meaning of Eluzai (mbd)
Eluzai, e-lu'-za-i (Heb.)--God is my strength; God is my refuge; God is my place of safety.
A Benjamite, a mighty man, who came to David at Ziklag when David was hiding there from Saul (I Chron. 12:5).
Meta. Faith in God as one's strength and as one's protection and vindication. This faith thought (Eluzai was a Benjamite) acts jointly with love (David) in consciousness, while the personal will (Saul) is still being dominated by the selfishness of sense and would kill out the spiritual quality of love if it could.
