Metaphysical meaning of Ethiopians (mbd)
Ethiopians, e-thl-o'-pl-ans (fr. Gk.).
Inhabitants of Ethiopia (Acts 8:27). They are also called Cushites and are descendants of Cush, the eldest son of Ham. Ham is the one of Noah's three sons who represents the physical in man.
Meta. The Ethiopians of II Chronicles 14:12, 13 represent the undisciplined and undeveloped thought forces in the subconsciousness. These forces are destructive but they cannot withstand the power of the Israelites directed by King Asa, the healer.
The Ethiopians, generally speaking, are the thoughts that belong to the Ethiopia state of consciousness in man. (See ETHIOPIA.)
