Metaphysical meaning of Gemalli (mbd)
Gemalli, ge-mal'-ll (Heb.)--of the camel, camel owner, camel rider; camel driver.
Father of Ammiel, of the tribe of Dan (Num. 13:12). (See AMMIEL.)
Meta. Dominion over and direction of the nature in man that the "camel" represents--patience, persistence, determination, that tendency of thought which conducts unswervingly to an end. If directed by true understanding this tendency is very valuable; but when it is guided by error it often amounts to great obstinacy and a steadfast refusal to listen to true reason and wisdom. (See CAMEL and BETH-GAMUL.)
