Metaphysical meaning of Gomorrah (mbd)
Gomorrah (A.V., Matthew 10:15; Rom. 9:29; II Pet. 2:6; Jude 7, Gomorrha), go-mor'-rah (Heb.)--overbearing; material force; tyranny; oppression.
A city of the plain. With Sodom it was destroyed by fire and brimstone rained upon it by Jehovah out of heaven (Gen. 19:24).
Meta. A state of mind in man that is adverse to the law of Spirit. It is submerged in sense and is very tyrannical in its nature. (See SODOM.)
